Ekal Volunteers Run for Literacy

Ekal Vidyalya Foundation of Hong Kong will be inaugurated by Shri Subash Chandra (Chairman Zee Telefilms Ltd) on 29Th July 2006. Ekal Karyakartas from around the globe will participate in the ceremony. On this occasion Dr. B. K. Modi - Chairman EV Global along with some prominent industrialist and professionals will be present.

Gram Vikas Yojna (Village Development Plan)

Naisnatya Varg (master trainer's training camp) of Gram Vikas Yojna, was held at Bharatia Kust Niwaran Sangh Ashram, Champa, Chhattisgarh successfully. 21 participants from all over country attended the camp. Experts and senior scientist mention below, from different field have guided the delegates. Particularly marketing organic manure, forming Gram Vikas Samiti at state and anchal level, MAR/MWR, production of good quality of manure, Chemical test of produced manure, etc. Specially Shri Satish Goel from Bangalore, Shri Gouri Shankar Gupta from Delhi have attended the meeting to discuss all about marketing organic compost.

Arogya Yojna (Health Awareness Plan)

Third Prathmik Camp of Arogya Yojna went on very well from 07th June to 14th June at Hans Vihar Ashram, Pykara of the Nilgiris district. 20 participants from various Tribal villages of Nilgiri district attended the Camp.

Leh Vanyatra: Ekal Vidyalaya is also running in Leh (BHARAT KE SHIKHAR MEIN). At present 20 schools are running and by August2006 total no of schools will be 60. 1 school is running in Nubra valley, the area of hot springs. it is nearly 170 km from leh. 5 schools are running near the chinese border and 1 on the border. From that school of ours The abode of Lord Shiva kailash Mansarovar is only 5 to6 km away.3 ekal schools are running in Aryan village which is near Pakistan border Battalic. The children of aryan school who want to study more are admitted in Bhartiya Vidya niketan in leh. Around 25 schools are going to be opened in district Kargil Zanskar which is around 250 km from leh. WHAT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF LEH-LADAKH ? Ladakh is a moon laqnd where earth and sky seems to meet. It comprises of two districts Leh and Kargil..Leh is situated on the banks of river Sindhu Or river Indus.From sindhu we derived the name Hind and finally Hindustan our country name.From Indus we got the name India. The oldest civilization of the world,INDUS VALLEY CIVILIZATION and it is believed that the vedas originated from this place. It is the place where Buddhisism still exists in same undistorted form. Every year Sindhu darshan is organised during the last week of june with sole purpose of interaction of the people of Ladakh with the rest of the nation. The students of Ekal school participated in the cultural programme organised on Sindhu Darshan.
