What time does it take to start Ekal Vidyalaya after starting the process? What activities are undertaken during this period?

Around 5 months Activities:

1. Training the Core Team 
2. Village Survey 
3. Formation of Village & Cluster Committees 
4. Teacher selection 
5. Teacher training  

What are the criteria for village selection, to start Ekal Vidyalaya?

• Tribal dominated
• Govt. / Other School is away
• Capable Village Committee
• Capable Local Teacher 

What are the special points kept in mind, while selecting the Teacher?

• The selection should be by the Village Committee
• Minimum education of metric level
• Dedicated and Service minded
• He / she should be from & stay in the same village 

Other than three hours for Ekal Vidyalaya, what are expected of the Teacher?

• Contact the families of the students
• Khel Kood Kendra (Games Center) - Satsang Kendra (Devotional / Common Prayer Center)
• Village Committee and Women s Group
• Contact the nearby villages 

How do you get teachers and other full-time workers, at such low remuneration / honorarium?

It is because of the ideology and because of the senior workers of the Service Organization who are mostly dedicated to the cause

To enroll dedicated workers in the remote areas whose assistance do you take?

Those Service Organizations, which are engaged in those areas, since long 

Which are committees formed to get - local cooperation?

Committees at Village, Cluster (Sanch) Sub Area (Sankul) and project area (Anchal) level

Can we ask to start Ekal Vidyalaya, anywhere? If not, why?

NO, because it depends upon local plan, local infrastructure and availability of workers.
