Ekal Vidyalaya is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a targeted mission of eradicating illiteracy and bringing basic education to children across rural India. Currently, Ekal operates nearly 79,675 one-teacher schools, which provide free education to more than 2.1 million children. But, there is more work to be done, as we aim to reach a total of 100,000 villages by 2021.
