Ekal Vidyalaya Power of Education Forum 2016

This insightful session on Learning and the brain by Dr. Jamshed Bharucha was conducted at Ekal Vidyalaya Power of Education Forum 2016. The programme inspired the participants about the secret of learning. The New England community has come forward to extend its support for educating children in rural India and empowering villages. Ekal volunteers and Youth Leaders have made the event grand and successful.
Seven day training programme for 30 Arogya Sanyojikas of Madhya Pradesh Sammbhag was conducted on December 20, 2015. Three central trainers have also took part in the programme in addition to the Samiti trainers. Main trainers of the region and the members of Mahila Samiti were present in the inauguration.

CSR Activity by Canara Bank

In its mission of providing free universal, non-formal primary education to the tribal children, Canara Bank has sanctioned an amount of Rs. 4 Lakhs for supporting Ekal Vidyalaya, in Nilgiris District of Tamilnadu. The support will be extended to 20 schools in the district.
Teachers and children from all the 20 schools sponsored by Canara Bank have participated in the programme conducted to highlight the event.
Dr. P. Sankar IAS, Ooty District Collector, handed over the cheque to  Ekal Vidyalaya in the presence of General Manager Mr Krishna and other Canara Bank staff members. The program was efficiently organized by Sri Sundara Bharathi, the Divisional Manager of Canara Bank.

Felicitating Acharyas by Prayag Chapter

The grand event of felicitating the first batch of 90 Acharyas who have excelled in their course was presided over by Mrs. Sadhna Agarwal, Mrs. Kirti Tandon and Mrs & Mr. Raj Kamal Agarwal. Mr. U.N. Mishra, the Retired Deputy Director of Education, Government of U.P. graced the function as the Chief Guest. ID cards and Educational Charts were distributed to the participants. The second batch comprising 90 Acharyas from Haata, Manda, Koraon, Yamunapur and Allahabad have reported for Prashikshan in the evening.

Arogya Foundation of India program, Bengaluru Chapter

The function was organised by the members of Bengaluru Chapter of AFI at PES pharmacy Institute, Hanumanthnagar.
The president spoke about the activities of Arogya Yojana and noted how it has spread among the rural women. He discussed about Arogya Foundation Medical Camps and his recent meeting with the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Mr. Twinkle Golechha welcomed all the members of Arogya Foundation Chapter. Shri Shambhu Lal Gupta, the president of the organization expressed his views about the unique services of the foundation. Sri Nalin Jain, the secretary presented the report of the activities. The trustees and members of the foundation were among the notable participants.

Sanch Sammelan at Ekal Abhiyan, Tezpur

Sanch Sammelan of Itakhola Sanch was held at Dekorai on January 17, 2016. The Sanch and Anchal members of Ekal Abhiyan, Tezpur have graced the event with their valuable speeches.

Vanyatra by FTS Mahila Samiti, Bhopal

FTS Bhopal Mahila Samiti had organised VANYATRA at Rampur Village in Raisen Anchal. Motivated by the attitude and involvement of the thirty members of the Samiti who visited Ekal Vidyalaya village, ten new members and donors have joined the FTS Ekal movement.

On 4th March Jaipur mahila samethi went for vanyatra to Ajmair anchal with a big team. They had a wonderful interactive session with the children and villagers.
