Kavi Darbar by Ekal, Canada

On 7th of May 2022 Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation of Canada organized a virtual Ekal Kavi Darbar, to raise funds for Ekal activities featuring Shri Anil Sharma Joshi, Dr Laxmi Shankar Bajpai, Dr. Mridul Kirti, Dr. Gajender Solanki, Shri Naresh Shandilya, Shri Alka Sinha, Shri Ashok Singh, Dr. Shailja Saksena, Smt Indra Wadehra, Dr Umesh Choudhry and moderated by Ms Aradhana Jha Shrivastava.
The event brought together poets from different countries in different time zones on one platform on this Amrit Mahotsav.
Virachi Jain 9th standard, Vilakshan Jain 6th standard and Abhyudaya Jain 6th standard students were from the small town of Banga in Punjab, India, where Shaheed 'Bhagat Singh' was born, the poems of these kidssuggested that the patriotism is present in the soil itself. The poems from veterans were full of energy and passion!

Ekal's Carnival by Ranchi team

Ekal Yuva, Ranchi organized an exhibition cum musical evening "Ekal’s Carnival" on 1st May at Swarnabhumi Banquets, Ranchi to create awareness about Ekal and its working.

More than 50 exhibitors participated in this event. A photography session by Shri Manish Agarwal, magic show and live pottery making session for the children and a musical evening by Osho Shakti were also part of the event.

Commendable effort by team Ranchi.

Shrihari Rath for Karnataka

Governor of Karnataka Honourable Shri Thaawar Chand Gehlot flagged off two Shrihari Raths of Ekal on 7th May. The chief of Ekal Abhyan Shri Shyamji Gupt was also present. The program was organized by FTS, Bangalore.

The two chariots of Ekal Shrihari will operate in Bidar zone of North Karnataka and Chamarajanagar zone of South Karnataka.

One more Shrihari Rath from FTS, Surat chapter

5th Shrihari Rath from FTS, Surat chapter was flagged off. It is also the 64th from Ekal Abhiyan.

Shri Purushotam Himatsinhka and Shri Ashok Tabdewal donated these Rath in memory of their late Parents. About 200 women and men were present on the occasion. This Rath will be visiting Jamadagri areas of Ghazipur district in UP.

Health camp for women at Jammu

On March 8, 2022, Ekal Abhiyan, Village Organization Executive Committee, Bhag Kathua, Jammu organized a health camp at village Darmani. Dr. Moushumi spoke about women health. Free Ayurvedic medicines were distributed to 137 women and children.

Vanyatra by BLSP's Kanpur Chapter Mahila Samiti

Ekal Bharath Lok Shiksha Parishad’s Kanpur Chapter Women's Committee President Smt Anuradha Varshney along with other committee members went on a vanyatra for three days from May 10 - 12 to Ekal Vidyalaya of Bithoor and Rania sanch of Kanpur.

Through Vanyatra, all the visitors were able to understand Ekal better. Everyone were very happy to see the smooth functioning of the school. They were also motivated to donate more and visit again.
