Donate to COVID relief in rural India
My name is Abhinav and I am a junior in Cary, North Carolina.
Seeing how COVID is hurting India is truly heartbreaking. People are suffering all over the country, and although the situation is improving there are still hundreds of thousands of new cases each day. Statistics and numbers can’t show the true gravity of the situation; it can be easy to get caught up in big numbers, but each individual death is an immense tragedy.
As a teen on the other side of the world, I often feel like I am helpless. But even in my position, I have the opportunity to fight this situation through fundraising.
Just as each individual death is a tragedy, each life saved is invaluable.
Ekal aims to supply diagnostic kits with oximeters and thermometers, establish a telehealth lifeline to connect villagers with doctors, and create COVID centers with quarantine areas and oxygen services. For rural villages with limited resources, these efforts are game-changing and have an enormous impact.
Together, we can make a difference. Even a small donation can go a long way, but those who can't donate can still contribute by spreading awareness through social media or informing friends and family.
Thank you for your time.
