In loving memory of Hasmukh Joshi

We are heartbroken by the loss of our father, Hasmukh Joshi.

He was 69 years old and is survived by his wife, two daughters, and two grandchildren. He was a wonderful grandfather, father, friend, husband and son—and we all miss him dearly. A true adherent of Sanatana Dharma, he had immense knowledge of the Bhagavad Gita and diligently participated in Geeta self-study groups. He turned his love for music and Gita into writing Bhajans. His wit, intelligence, discipline and ability to connect with people of all age groups is admirable. He was an exponent of Yoga as well and actively participated in various Surya Namaskar, Yagnas and other Yoga related activities.

He was fondly referred to as Hasmukh Bhai, by all the Ekal Houston volunteers and other organizations in the Houston Metropolitan area.  Our Dad truly loved Ekal Vidyalaya, and always went the extra mile to ensure that the message of Ekal spread throughout the community. He served as the treasurer for many years in the past and had meticulously attended to all the financial matters. Recently, he was reappointed for the treasurer's post for 2023 and was looking forward to serving in that capacity. 

Thank you Dad for all you have done, we miss you dearly.
