Target Audience: Preschoolers, Elementary (Kindergarten to 5th grade) and Middle school students (6th grade to 8th grade). Ages from 4 to 13
Workshop Information ( curriculum covered)
These are in person classes that will focus on building essential skills and techniques of handling the basketball, working on various shooting forms, basketball handling without looking at the ball, footwork, working on defense, layups, Jump Shot while conditioning the body. Students will improve their focus and their physical strength and endurance, along with building resilience and mental strength. In these basketball classes, I offer exceptional guidance to get children on their school's basketball team next academic year. I will teach based on your age groups. Staying active is extremely important to ensure our health stays in good condition and having fun while playing an energetic and competitive sport is the perfect way to do it!
About the Instructor:
Ridhi Kadam is a sophomore at Irvington High School and has played Basketball since she was 6 years. She has represented her school team at Horner Middle High and Irvington High School basketball team. She has played for competitive teams in AAU for 4+ years. She thoroughly enjoys teaching children and helping develop their inner potential and grit and basketball classes is a great way to do this. She strives to provide the funds from her volunteering efforts to Ekal Vidyalaya in order to broaden the opportunities for these deserving children at remote areas in India that are brimming with potential.
