About the Class: This Genetics 101 workshop consists of two one hour sessions held on Zoom. The first day will be an introduction to molecular genetics while the second day focuses on Mendelian genetics along with applications in healthcare. The first day is recommended for people who are new to genetics, the second day is recommended for those who have a good understanding and want to learn more about the application. Ages middle school and up!
About the Teacher: Sachi Badola is a rising junior at Chelmsford High School, MA. She has been an invited speaker at many conferences and was the keynote speaker at the MASSCUE 2017 conference. She is passionate about singing, theatre, public speaking, biology, and chemistry.
