Course Fee: $20 per participant
Day 1: Students will learn what mindfulness is, and the benefits of practicing it. Students will learn more about mental health and how to keep their mental health in check. They will learn the stigmas of mental health and how to practice healthy habits that will keep their mental health strong.
Day 2: Students will learn about various mindfulness exercises. The instructors will thoroughly explain each exercise, its benefits and do demonstrations. Students will be able to practice these mindfulness exercises. Some exercises include breathing techniques, positive affirmations and inspection exercises.
About the Teachers:
Neha Velagapudi and Aarushi Kharra are the instructors of the "Mindfulness and Mental Health Awareness" workshop. They are high school students from New Jersey. They have attended a mental health workshop in the past and loved it. Now, they love to spread awareness about mental health and mindfulness.
