EVF, Australia at SAIMA Gala Dinner 2021
Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation (EVF Australia) Adelaide chapter conducted its first fundraising event on 19 June 2021.
EVF was chosen as the charity partner for the South Australia Indian Medical Association's (SAIMA) Gala Dinner 2021. With over 450 doctors and their families, the annual event was a success in every way. EVF raised funds by holding a raffle event and an auction which saw some healthy bidding competition between the fantastic attendees. The attendees opened their hearts to Ekal’s cause and donated with gusto.

Dear friends, after the tremendous success of Ekal IndiArt 2020, very excited to bring IndiArt 2021 workshops and competitions! Jharna and I had a blast with IndiArt last year, bringing much healing to families while supporting Ekal Vidyalayas. Grateful to Ranjani ji, all the ambassadors and IndiArt team, Meena Mehta, Srilakshmi Srinivasan, Niti Chhabra Kapoor, Gauri Shukla, Nikita Minocha and youth leaders. This year Manisha Jain, Manorama Choudhury Raksha Soni (ambassador and Ekal veteran) join us as well. We will start with the first workshop on Friday Aug 13, with India's Independence themed Calligraphy workshop by creative artist Minaxi Choksi from LA. This is followed by a fun workshop 'Random Thoughts', by Seema Moondraji. Connect with your inner artist while supporting Ekal villages, will appreciate the help in these testing times.
