APPLICABLE TO ALL PARTICIPANTS FOR EKAL Walkathon August 29, 2026

I/We/Team Lead of group/volunteer/participant, hereby voluntarily agree to participate in the Walkathon organized by Ekal Vidyalaya on August 29, 2026. In consideration of being allowed to participate in this event, I/WE/Team agree to the following terms and conditions:

Assumption of Risk: Understand and acknowledge that participating in the walkathon involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury or property damage. I/WE/Team voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in the event.

Release and Waiver of Liability: hereby release and waive any claims, demands, causes of action, or suits against EKAL Vidyalaya, its officers, directors, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliates arising from or related to my participation in the walkathon event. This release includes, but is not limited to, any injury, loss, damage, or harm suffered by me or my property during the event.

Photography and Media Consent: grant EKAL Vidyalaya the permission to use photographs, video recordings, and/or audio recordings of me taken during the Walkathon for promotional and marketing purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, and print materials.

Compliance with Rules and Instructions: agree to comply with all rules, instructions, and guidelines provided by EKAL Vidyalaya and event organizers before and during the walkathon event.

Health and Medical Conditions: Affirm that I/WE/Team am/are in good health and capable of participating in the event. If I have any pre-existing medical conditions or concerns that may affect my ability to participate safely, I/WE/Team will inform the event organizers beforehand.

Emergency Medical Treatment: In the event of an emergency, I authorize EKAL Vidyalaya and its representatives to seek medical treatment on my behalf and agree to be financially responsible for any medical expenses incurred. Team of EKAL Vidyalaya is not responsible for any emergency medical expenses and claim.

Indemnification: I/WE/Team agree to indemnify and hold harmless EKAL Vidyalaya, its officers, directors, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliates from any claims, demands, or suits, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising from or related to my participation in the walkathon.

I have read this waiver and fully understand its contents. I/WE/Team am/are signing it voluntarily and of my own free will, intending to be legally bound thereby.

Note:

• If you sign the paper copy of waiver then it must be signed and returned to Ekal Vidyalaya before participating in the Walkathon. Participants under the age of 18 must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

• If you are leading a group of participants then you're signing the participation waiver on behalf of all members for the Walkathon.

• Also, kindly ensure all members of your group sign the participation waiver for the Walkathon and group lead would be responsible for Guardian Signature/permissions for participants under the age of 18. EKAL Vidyalaya is not responsible for individual sign waiver if you are participating in a group.

• Electronic submission of this waiver will be considered as signature for you or your participating group/team.
