The New Hampshire Chapter inauguration was celebrated with strong participation from community leaders, organizations, and the Boston leadership team. The event helped raise awareness about Ekal’s mission and encouraged collaboration among participating groups.
The program was hosted by Aarti and Rakhi, whose efforts ensured a warm, well-organized gathering, fostering a spirit of unity and shared purpose.
The annual Ekal event in Indianapolis concluded with great success, generating support for 200 Ekal Vidhyalayas. The program featured a vibrant performance by Milind Oak and team, which added energy and engagement to the event.
The outcome reflects strong community participation and commitment to Ekal’s mission. Gratitude was extended to the Ekal National team for their continued guidance and support in making the event successful.
The Chicago and Detroit teams celebrated another successful event, marked by strong participation and outstanding results. The Chicago event was a full house, sold out two weeks in advance, and raised close to 100,000 dollars, contributing to a total of approximately 450,000 dollars raised this year.
The event also led to commitments for 5 to 7 new projects, with initial contributions already received for some. The success reflects the dedication of the volunteer team and effective donor outreach efforts, with special acknowledgment to Kamlesh for support in engaging donors.
The Chicago chapter hosted a youth-led pickleball tournament as part of a series of weekend events, drawing an overwhelming response with participation exceeding court capacity. The event reflected high energy and enthusiastic involvement across age groups.
Chicago stands out as a successful model of youth leadership transition, with Ankita and Rutvij serving as RP and CP, supported by Kinnari (VP), Monal, Nilesh, Jugal, and others. The largely teenage leadership team efficiently managed key responsibilities, including ticketing, entry coordination, donation collection, and overall event execution, demonstrating strong ownership and capability.
The seamless execution of back-to-back events highlighted the commitment, coordination, and growing impact of youth involvement within Team Chicago.
The Nari Shakti Vandan Sammelan was organised with great dignity and scale on 12 April at Cinderella Farms, Chhattarpur, Delhi. The event was graced by Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, whose presence and address inspired a large gathering of women.
During the conference, Ekal Abhiyan was invited to present its vision on stage. Madhu Gupta, National Vice President and Delhi President of Ekal Shrihari Mahila Samiti, shared insights into the Ekal movement, highlighting its Panchmukhi Shiksha model and various initiatives being implemented across one lakh villages in India.
Ekal’s Matrushakti was well represented by Vibha Gupta (Vice President, R.K. Puram), Sarita Rajput (President, Dwarka Division), Kamayani Shrestha (General Secretary), Mithlesh Agnihotri (Vice President), Suman Bisht (Shrihari Mahila Nar Sangathak), and Jyoti Gangrade. Their presence added strength and dignity to the event.

A series of cultural and spiritual programs was successfully organized in Pune under Ekal Abhiyan to promote social harmony, cultural awareness, and spiritual values. The highlight, “Colors of India with Ekal,” held at Swami Vivekananda Auditorium, Kothrud, featured inspiring performances by tribal artists based on the Ramayana, organized by Ekal Vidyalayas of Friends of Tribal Society, Pune.
Tribal students from regions including Khed, Junnar, Ghodegaon, Akole, Ahilyanagar, Murbad, and Thane participated with enthusiasm. The program began with Ganesh Vandana, followed by patriotic songs and vibrant presentations of Indian culture through music, dance, and drama. Performances depicting Ram, Sita, and Hanuman deeply moved the audience and showcased India’s rich heritage.
As part of the series, Sundarkand recitations were organized on the occasion of Hindu New Year (Padwa) at multiple locations, including Felicita Society, the residence of Snehalata Dhoot, and the farmhouse of Vasant Rathi, bringing together devotees in an atmosphere of unity and devotion.
The events provided a valuable platform for tribal students to showcase their talents and build confidence. The initiative was supported by Shobhanatai Dilip Paranjpe, Natwar Kishor Toshniwal, and Ashok Bhagwandas Naval. Overall, the program successfully fostered cultural pride, social unity, and spiritual awakening.

The Ekal Shrihari National Satsang Competition concluded with great dignity and devotion on 4 April, after being organized over 3 and 4 April at the sacred Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra in Ayodhya.
Satsang groups from 22 states and regions, including Assam, West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu, Rajasthan, and Nepal, participated in this vibrant event. The participants presented traditional folk dances and devotional bhajan singing, making the two-day competition a rich celebration of India’s cultural and spiritual heritage.
After careful evaluation, North Himachal Pradesh secured first place, Central Uttar Pradesh secured second place, and Mahakaushal and Chhattisgarh jointly secured third place. Judges noted that all groups delivered outstanding performances, making the decision highly challenging. The remaining 18 groups were also honored, and Mahesh Mittal announced that they would receive sets of musical instruments.
The event was graced by distinguished dignitaries including Girish Pati Tripathi (Mayor of Ayodhya), Anil Mishra (Trustee, Ram Janmabhoomi Trust and Chairman, Aayojan Samiti), Kedarnath (Secretary), Mahesh Mittal (National President, Ekal Shrihari), Sadhana Modh (General Secretary), Leen Sharma (Campaign Head, Ekal Abhiyan), and Seema Ajgaonkar (Organization Minister, Ekal Shrihari), along with revered saints Prem Shankar Das, Ramsundar Das, and Kyamsundar Das, and many respected citizens.
Participants from various bhajan mandalis shared that visiting Ayodhya through this satsang competition was a deeply spiritual and fulfilling experience. Office bearers from Mumbai, Surat, Delhi, Dhanbad, Medinipur, Nashik, and Raipur were also present and gained spiritual merit by attending the program, which reflected a strong sense of cultural awakening.
The program concluded with the singing of Vande Mataram, leaving a lasting impression of devotion, unity, and cultural pride.

The Beautician Course by Ekal Gramothan Foundation is transforming the lives of rural women by providing skill-based training and sustainable income opportunities. Through this initiative, women are becoming self-reliant, supporting their families, and building a strong social identity.
Focused on the vision of “From learning to earning,” the program stands as a powerful example of women’s empowerment and grassroots development.
The Tailoring Training Center in Tekari, near Bodh Gaya, Bihar, a rural and tribal backward region, was established in 2022 by the Waghmare family under Ekal’s Women Empowerment Program. The initiative was started with the purpose of creating livelihood opportunities for women in an area with limited prospects.
In the current quarter, 34 girls are receiving comprehensive training in tailoring and fashion designing, starting from basic knowledge of cloth and threads. The training is provided free of cost, enabling them to become financially independent and support their families by starting their own ventures. For many participants, this is their first exposure to tailoring skills.
Despite challenges, several women travel long distances daily to attend the training, reflecting their determination to improve their lives and livelihoods. The program stands as a strong example of grassroots empowerment and sustainable development.

The Vanyatra was conducted under the guidance of Ekal Shrihari Delhi, Dwarka Department. The journey began with a holy dip in the Ganga, followed by lunch, visits to the GRC, and an Ekal Vidyalaya. These experiences provided spiritual enrichment and a deeper understanding of Ekal’s grassroots initiatives, leading to the successful conclusion of the yatra.
Participants including Sarita Rajput, Kamayani Shrestha, Pawan Singhal, Sangeeta Singhal, Gopikishan Gangrade, Jyoti Gangrade, Mithlesh Agnihotri, Rajni Pahuja, Shikha Chatterjee, Seema Gupta, Manju Pathak, Hansi Bisht, and Suman Bisht contributed with dedication and sincerity.
Special acknowledgement goes to Rajiv, Rajat Chauhan, and all volunteers whose efforts ensured the success of the event. A special mention to Pawan Singhal, whose initiative led to the adoption of a Sanskar Kendra by a friend, marking a meaningful contribution to Ekal’s mission.
Rocky and Mansi from Ekal’s Chicago chapter visited Navakuva, Gujarat with their children, Arpan and Riya, as part of Ekal Vanyatra to experience the impact of Ekal’s initiatives firsthand.
Riya had earlier raised funds for four Ekal schools through her Rangmanch Pravesh Visharad (Kathak graduation) campaign, while both Arpan and Riya have contributed through initiatives such as chess and basketball camps. Associated with Ekal for the past four years, the family used this visit to deepen their connection with the mission.
During the visit, Arpan and Riya conducted a painting workshop for local children, creating joyful engagement and meaningful connections through creativity and shared purpose.
