Rural girls and boys gained digital literacy
Developed in partnership with IIT Bombay, our computer training curriculum includes spoken tutorials and substantial practice. Over the course of three months, trainees build technology skills and computer literacy.
Computer Teacher, Jarangloi
"People in the village did not know what a computer was, so we brought them to the computer lab and taught them. We are trying to bridge the gap between city and village youth. Any girl who has studied up to Class 12 is eligible to train here, and we will help her find a good job."
Computer Training Graduate
"I completed the three-month training course at the Tinsukia Gramothan Resource Center. Now I am employed as a computer assistant, earning 6-7,000 rupees per month. Thanks to Ekal, I am financially independent and have a fulfilling job."
