Shakti Dance Academy is a Bharatnatyam dance school looking to raise funds to benefit Ekal Vidyalaya

I’m Sreenidhi Gottumukkala from Shakti Dance Academy and a Sophomore at Cox Mill High School. My friend Varnika Nandakumar and I are leading the fund raising campaign on behalf of our Academy to benefit Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation, utilizing our Annual Recital on December 14th at Kannapolis Middle School, North Carolina. It is important for us to contribute to this foundation as our Academy wants to lend a helping hand for those in need, and wants to promote our new campaign, “Dance for a Cause,” through a fundraiser benefitting Ekal. Our Academy will invite people from across Charlotte, and publicize our event on social media and word of mouth to maximize the guests attending our event and enhancing the funds collected. We would be putting our belief of “dance for a cause” at Shakti Dance Academy to spread awareness of Ekal, raise funds and make a difference. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Ekal Vidyalaya.
