Celebrating the life of Sushil B Chokshi
Dr. Sushil B. Chokshi learned the value of education from his father, Bhikhubhai. Bikhubhai emphasized the value of education by spending hours tutoring his own children each day. However, Bhikhubhai also chose to educate one of Sushil's friends who did not have the same access to educational resources. This neighborhood kid, and close friend of Sushil's transcended from a kid in poverty to a successful engineer with a thriving family and career. This story is a foundational element as to why the Chokshi family has been a supporter of Ekal Vidyalaya continues the tradition of providing education to those who would not otherwise have ready access to such resources.
