Empowering Women with Ekal Abhiyan
The EKAL CT Women's Initiative is a dedicated platform created by the Connecticut chapter of Ekal to bring women together in support of a meaningful cause - transforming lives through education and community development in rural India.
This initiative fosters connection, creativity, and purpose by engaging women in a variety of enriching activities, ranging from intimate workshops to larger community events. Through painting sessions, handicraft workshops, cultural programs, wellness activities, and other interactive experiences, participants build friendships, develop new skills, and contribute to a shared mission of social impact.
More than just a series of events, the EKAL CT Women's Initiative is a movement that supports the development of rural India through children's education, women's empowerment, healthcare, skill development, and other transformative programs led by Ekal Abhiyan [ekal.org]. By coming together, participants help raise awareness and support for Ekal's mission of providing education, empowerment, and opportunities to underserved communities across India.
