Cookies for a Cause 

Hi, my name is Anjali Kakumani, and I am a student participating in Ekal Vidyalaya's DIY campaign program. I'm passionate about making a difference in the lives of women in underserved communities. I believe everyone deserves the chance to build a better future, become independent, and develop the skills needed to succeed. However, many women in rural areas of India face barriers to education, employment, and financial independence.

This is why I created Cookies for a Cause, a student-led initiative that turns one of my hobbies into a way to give back. Through this campaign, I will bake and sell boxes of cookies, with each box having a set starting price. Supporters can choose to pay either the baseline price or donate more to help make a bigger impact. By combining two things I truly love, I hope to raise money to support Ekal Vidyalaya's Women's Empowerment Centers across South India.

Helping Empower Women

Ekal Vidyalaya's Women's Empowerment initiatives help women develop practical skills, earn an income, and become more independent. Through Cookies for a Cause, I hope to turn something as simple as baking cookies into a way to support a much bigger cause. Each box sold will help me get closer to my fundraising goal, and supporters can choose to donate more than the baseline price if they want to make an even bigger contribution. After accounting for baking and packaging costs, the money raised will go toward supporting Ekal Vidyalaya's Women's Empowerment initiatives.
