Ekal Vidyalaya presents the Ekal Math Olympiad 2026! This contest is aimed at encouraging young learners to explore and grow their mathematical abilities and prepare them for future math competitions (AMC 8/10, Mathcounts, Math Kangaroo, etc.) The competition is open to children in grades 1 to 8 in the greater Boston area. Younger children are encouraged to participate as well, to familiarize them with these competition-style problems. The registration fee is $20 per participant, with all proceeds benefiting Ekal Vidyalaya.  Similar to the 2025 event, we will have 4 levels:

Beginner: Grades 1 & 2
Intermediate: Grades 3 & 4
Junior: Grades 5 & 6
Senior:  Grades 7 & 8

All participants will receive certificates of participation. The first and second place winners from each grade level will be awarded prizes!

The competition will consist of a single round. It will contain 25 multiple choice questions with a time limit of 40 minutes.
