A proud moment

Ms Savita, Ekal gram sangatan pramukh, met prime minister Shri Modiji. She presented a book written according to his suggestion on the occasion of Ekal reaching one lakh schools. Shri Modiji inquired about the entire activity of Ekal and happily blessed her.

'Bharat Ke Rang Ekal Ke Sang'

The annual festival 'Bharat Ke Rang Ekal Ke Sang' organized by Friends of Tribals Society (FTS) and Srihari Satsang Samiti, Kolkata Chapter was held on Sunday 18 September 2022 at Kala Mandir Auditorium, Kolkata. Chief Guest Shri N.G. Khaitan and keynote speaker Shri Chetan Bhagat praised the work being done by the organization for spreading education, self-reliance and values in rural India. The leader of Ekal Abhiyan Shri Shyam ji Gupta was also present in this program.
The keynote speaker Shri Chetan Bhagat shared his life experiences with the audience in his address. Srihari Kathakars also enthralled the audience with the presentation of Sri Krishna Leela.

E-Shram (labor) Card for Shabari Basti Families

Vanbandhu Parishad Mahila Samiti, Surat organised a camp to make E-shram card at Agram Skill Center in Surat for the needy. In this camp E-shram cards were made for 150 people .

Celebrations of Kerala

September comes with our State festival Onam, when king Mahabali is welcomed by the state with floral carpets which is called Pookalam made only with fresh flowers and leaves. FTS, Kerala, Mahila samithi held competitions for members and Kerala Ekal Vidyalaya students that included Pookalam Competitions and distributed prizes.

The batches on EoW completed successfully

Ekal Abhiyan is running a Ekal on Wheels (EoW) in Koppal Anchal, Ginigera Sanch since December, 2021.  The EoW has completed three batches of training for the rural youth / students.  Two of the students who had completed their Computer Course on the EoW during January to March, 2022 have joined Ekal Abhiyan as Full Time Workers (Seva Vrati):

Kum. Ambika G.E., B.Com of Ginigere has taken the responsibility of Anchal Karyalaya Pramukh and Kum. Renuka T.L., B.Com of Ginigere has undertaken the responsibility of Sanch Pramukh.

106 members made a vanyatra

On 21st august a vanyatra was organised for Shri Mukesh Kabra, Shri Ganesh Changoiwala and group in Tapi anchal, Gowmukh sanch, Hindla village.

106 members including men, women and children  participated. President of Gramothan Surat, Shri Brijmohan Agrawal had made all arrangements in the village with the help of karyakarthas.

The visitors were welcomed by the children of Ekal vidyalaya, with traditional folk music and tilak.

Visitors were astonished on seeing the reach of Ekal in such arduous place. They interacted with children and found them very intelligent.

They distributed gifts to the children. Visitors left with a positive feeling promising to visit again.

Vanyatra by Ekal, Tezpur team

On September 18, 2022, Vanbandhu Parishad, Central Bhag Committee and Tezpur Circle Committee conducted a Vanyatra program to Rangajan Bhalukpong sanch. In this Vanyatra event, 120 students from four schools, 25 teachers and about 400 villagers participated. School bags, tiffin boxes and water bottles were distributed to 120 students by Tezpur Circle Committee - All India Federation of Tax Practitioners and International Human Rights Council and sarees to all teachers of Ekal Vidyalaya, Central Assam.
