Valence Robotics is fundraising to help build a school in rural India and spread STEM
Hi, we're Valence Robotics, a team of highschool students working out of Durham, North Carolina hoping to make change on both the national and international level. While we spend our time building robots for our season and teaching our members what it means to be an active individual in STEM, we also believe that real innovation starts with the access to education. That’s why we’ve partnered with Ekal Vidyalaya, a non-profit dedicated to spreading literacy across rural India, one village at a time. Our goal is simple but powerful: raise funds to open and start one full Ekal school for an entire year. Your contribution will help allow opportunity for a rural community giving kids the education, tools, and confidence to dream bigger. We’re on a mission to fund an ekal school that will give 30-40 children access to basic literacy, numeracy, health education, and digital awareness. We’re raising $600, enough to help fund one Ekal school for one year. As a young robotics team, our team stands by our motto For Students, By Students. We want to carry on this influence around the world, starting with the core foundation of it all, Education. Your support will go a long way!
