For support of the Dediapara Computer Training Lab
My dad, Dhruve Shah, came from Rajpipla and lived all over India before moving to the United States. He came from humble beginnings but he always made sure to prioritize his education. He earned two undergraduate degrees in India and one Master's degree in the United States. To him, education for all was of utmost importance, and he instilled this in me growing up.
My dad just passed away after a short battle with sporadic CJD. He was one of the kindest people in our community and he loved the simple joys in life. As a family, we feel this campaign would be the best way to honor his memory.
The funds from this campaign will go to a computer training lab in a small village named Dediapara in Gujarat. The facility currently exists, but we hope that the funds from this campaign will further advance it and touch the lives of many young people.
